The importance of trust is already noted by scientists. At first glance this very familiar and insignificant feeling can be even vital in the organization's processes. Furthermore, it is crucial for innovations' implementation. This article analyzes how an epistemic community is built in the organization and what role trust plays in this process. It proves that epistemic community is an innovative approach of working which can be very useful to organization. Each stage of the epistemic community building process is discussed in detail in the article showing the significance and benefit of it. Special attention is given to trust which is the key factor in the process determining not only people's will to participate in building the epistemic community but also the whole course of the process. The value of network of experts working together with general knowledge system comes out when there is a need to solve problems fast and effectively. It becomes obvious from the article that the network of specialists (epistemic community) can do it better than people who normally work in the organization. And that effective and productive work can make organization more profitable and competitive. Overall, trust is relevant in building the epistemic community because it determines a success of all process. It could be hardly implemented without trust in the organization.
