Contemporary organizations optimizing its management by implementing integrated management system, which concludes to the required standards of quality management, employees‘ health and safety management, social responsibility and environmental protection management. It is required long-term united efforts of strategic level leaders and high organizational maturity to ensure fluently running stages of planning management systems integration, preparing documentation, implementing and realizing integrated management systems. Coordination and supervision of management systems is a complex goal, which needs constant redesigning and innovations. As there is no international standard, that would submit unambiguous recommendations about ensuring the management system integration, every organization copes with this assignment on it‘s own. The paper discusses the benefit of integrated management systems for the organizations. With reference to the empirical study, article highlights the integrated management system implementation areas of concern in Lithuania. The paper gives the results of analysis that are equally beneficial for practicians interested in implementation, supporting and expanding of IMS, and scientists, searching for solutions for the problems of optimizing the organizational activities.
