Abstract (en)
The article disscuses about problems of development andaction planning in local government sof Lithuania. It is found, that there are no development planning techniques prepeared for local governments, the planning it self is not regulated by ant law. In development planning of self governments the principle of are a planning is not used widely enough. Action and development plans of local governments are prepared by different techniques, which are not consistent with each other.
