Abstract (en)
The author has already begun exploring the concept of internal investigations (hereinafter - II) in her previous articles, starting with an analysis of its legal framework, comparing international practices such as the German and UK models, and providing an overview of the initial situation in Lithuania by examining the existing legal regulations and organizational practices related to conducting II within the context of legal compliance management systems (hereinafter - CMS). This article continues the research by examining the methodologies for conducting II, their criminalistic aspects, and the practical challenges.
