Abstract (en)
In their presentation, the authors discuss the doctrine being formed within the function of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Lithuania concerning the constitutionally guaranteed protection of property rights (with particular emphasis on issues restricting these rights) protected by the Constitution. Constitutional jurisprudence states that the right to property is not absolute. The Constitution recognizes the possibility to restrict certain human rights, as well as a right to property.
