Abstract (en)
Violence against women expressed as forced behaviour is quite spread and the least recognised form of violation of human rights. In both the implementation of violence prevention in domestic context and the provision of assistance for the women that experienced violence, services of specialised assistance are necessary. Men face the same forms of violence (physical, sexual, emotional, and economic) as women, but violence against men in the Lithuanian society is still a taboo subject; therefore the men that experienced violence avoid asking for assistance.
