Interaction between ICT and creative potential

Abstract

Seeking the maximum economic benefits modern organization often depends on opportunities given by the Internet, information communication technologies and computerized networks. These technologies make remarkable impacts on social human resources, business environment and the productivity of organization’s activities. The opportunities of remote communication means are useful for organizations that have remote affiliates but the same technologies increase social isolation between employees, if e. inclusion is ensured. The organizations, using information communication technologies, have to be social responsible for harms to employees’ relations that arise from using information communication technologies. The impact of information communication technologies on the optimization of operational activities have been explored widely but there is a lack of researches on the information communication technologies impact on the effectiveness of an organization in a social aspect. The goal of this article is, by sharing best practice of State Tax Inspectorate under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania in decreasing digital isolation and managing risks that arise from it, to reveal the inspectorate’s contribution to wiki community development. In order to reach the goal an inquiry at the inspectorate was made using a questionnaire prepared based on the results of other authors’ researches and existing working environment at the inspectorate.
