Abstract (en)
The article examines how innovative activity contributes to improving quality of life. It analyses innovation theories, describes the state of innovation development in Ukraine, and explains the role of innovations in the improvement of quality of life. The data on innovation implementation, and the total expenditures of innovative activity of sectors compared to the inventory activity of Ukrainian industrial enterprises are presented. The impact of market infrastructure is analyzed and defined on innovative enterprises' activity. The adoption of innovations helps to eliminate social inequality, improve the health and education systems, solve labour market issues, and increase employment.
