The article analyses the problem-based teaming possibilities for a curriculum design in a nonlinear vibration study of a mechanical system. The major attention is paid to the development of digital teaming environment for the studies of nonlinear vibration. The numerical simulation of natural forms of vibration is performed using finite element techniques. Visualization of the mode of vibration is arranged using characteristic functions of the distributing of interference fringes on the surface of vibrating object. The nonlinear vibrations problems are programmed into teaming digital environment. The developed numerical teaming method based on PBL is applied for training international students in the course of Mechanical Vibrations at the International Studies Center of Kaunas University of Technology.
