Per pastaruosius metus Lietuvoje privataus sveikatos draudimo svarba augo. 2023 m. šio draudimo įmokos padidėjo 32,29 %. Tyrimo tikslas buvo įvertinti draudimo bendrovių, teikiančių savanoriško sveikatos draudimo paslaugas, efektyvumą. Duomenų apgaubties analizės (DEA) metodu nustatyta, kad iš šešių analizuotų bendrovių efektyviausios yra dvi (A ir F), o keturios (B, C, D ir E) – neefektyvios. Tyrimas parodė, kad svarbu optimizuoti kaštų panaudojimą ir darbuotojų skaičių, siekiant geresnių draudimo bendrovių veiklos rezultatų.
In recent years, the importance of private health insurance in Lithuania has increased. In 2023, the premiums for this insurance grew by 32.29%. The aim of the study was to evaluate the effectiveness of insurance companies providing voluntary health insurance services. Using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), two out of the six analyzed companies (A and F) were found to be the most efficient, while four others (B, C, D, and E) were inefficient. The study showed that optimizing cost utilization and employee numbers is crucial for improving the operational results of insurance companies.
