Azartinių lošimų teisinio reguliavimo ypatumai Lietuvoje

Abstract

This work analyses the mechanism of gambling legal reguliation in Lithuania. The concept of legal regulation is overwieved in the beginning. Moreover, it is disccused about the role of the State in regulating this activity. Situation in Lithuania is compared with the practice of other countries, about how deep this activity shoul be regulated. Thurthermore the activity of State Gaming Control Comission, its priorities, the results of its activity, its positive and negative aspects is disccused in details. The suggestions on improvement of this institution are offered. Next chapter analyses particular issues of gambling regulation: issuing licences, permitions, registration of gaming machines and the the rule of organising gambling. The importance and various aspects of the implementation of these issues is disccused. the ideas on possible changes of legal regulation are suggested and the disscusion about influence of legal regulation to gambling market and potential investors is given in this work. Finally, the author overviews newly established project of new gambling law.
