Baigiamojo darbo tema – „Etinės problemos teikiant pagalbą šeimoms: atvejo vadybininkų patirtys“. Baigiamajame magistro darbe siekta išanalizuoti etines problemas, kylančias dirbant su šeimomis atvejo vadybos procese. Siekiant šio tikslo, pirmiausia buvo išnagrinėtos teorinės atvejo vadybos modelio, teikiant socialinę pagalbą šeimoms, prielaidos. Atlikus mokslinės literatūros analizę, išgryninti etiniai iššūkiai, kylantys socialinės pagalbos šeimoms teikime, o taip pat šių iššūkių įveikos priemonės ir strategijos. Siekiant nustatyti, kokios etinės problemos kyla atvejo vadybininkams Lietuvoje, atliktas pusiau struktūrizuotas interviu su atvejo vadybininkais. Šio tyrimo rezultatai parodė, kad etinės problemos atvejo vadybininkams kyla tiek santykiuose su savimi, artima aplinka, paslaugų gavėjais, tiek su kitais specialistais. Santykyje su savimi gana dažnas stiprus situacijos priėmimas asmeniškai, dvejonės dėl savo, kaip darbuotojo, profesionalumo. Santykyje su artima aplinka kyla problemų dėl konfidencialumo pažeidimų, darbo namuose po darbo valandų. Santykyje su paslaugų gavėjais etinių problemų kelia svarstymai dėl savo poelgių, nuostatų, konfliktai, (ne)pagarba paslaugų gavėjo savarankiškumui, nemaloni komunikacija (familiarumas, seksualinis priekabiavimas, pasakojimai apie intymius dalykus), konfidencialumo nesilaikymas, kontrolės praradimas posėdžių metu, kultūriniai skirtumai. Tyrimo dalyviams vidinių dvejonių sukėlė pasiūlymo nutraukti nėštumą pateikimas, o taip pat pranešimas apie galimą neblaivumo faktą. Nustatyta, kad etinės problemos, kylančios santykyje su vadovais ir kitais specialistais palyginti retos. Etinių dilemų atvejo vadybininkams kelia konfidencialumas, interesų konfliktai bei mobingo apraiškos. Identifikuotų problemų įveikai būtinas asmeninių vertybių, tokių kaip šeima, teisingumas, pagarba žmogui, atsakomybė, šališkumas, pagarba gyvybei, apsvarstymas. Be vertybių apsvarstymo etines problemas atvejo vadybininkams tenka pasitelkti ir ribų brėžimą, o taip pat ir dalyvauti supervizijose.
The topic of the thesis is "Ethical Problems in Providing Support to Families: Experiences of Case Managers". The master's thesis aimed to analyse the ethical problems of working with families in the case management process. In order to achieve this goal, the theoretical assumptions of the case management model in providing social assistance to families were first examined. After analyzing the scientific literature, the ethical challenges arising in providing social assistance to families and the means and strategies for overcoming these challenges have been clarified. In order to determine what ethical problems arise for case managers in Lithuania, a semi-structured interview was conducted with case managers. The results of this study showed that ethical problems arise for case managers in their relationships with themselves, their close environment, clients, and other professionals. Strong acceptance of the situation personally and hesitation about one's professionalism as an employee are quite common in one's relationship with oneself. In a relationship with a close environment, there are problems due to violations of confidentiality and working at home after working hours. Ethical problems in the relationship with clients are caused by considerations regarding one's actions, attitudes, conflicts, (dis)respect for the client's autonomy, unpleasant communication (familiarity, sexual harassment, stories about intimate matters), non-compliance with confidentiality, loss of control during meetings, cultural differences. The participants of the study were internally hesitant about the proposal to terminate the pregnancy, as well as the notification about the possible fact of drunkenness. It has been established those ethical problems arising in the relationship with managers and other professionals are relatively rare. Confidentiality, conflicts of interest, and manifestations of mobbing pose ethical dilemmas for case managers. Overcoming the identified problems requires considering personal values such as family, justice, respect for people, responsibility, partiality, and respect for life. In addition to considering values and ethical issues, case managers have to draw boundaries and also participate in supervision.
