GDPR significantly increased employers' duties and responsibilities in relation to how they collect, use and protect personal data of the employees. The main aim of SOLPRIPA 2 WORK project is two-fold:

1. To empower the employers to build and develop a working environment in which the integrity of the employees’ privacy is guaranteed through a system of prevention, accountability and control measures against the wrongful processing of personal data in employment relationships in ways which do not to create barriers to innovations.
2. To empower the employees to safeguard their fundamental right to the protection of their personal data in the workplace and promote intolerance of misuse of personal data in employment relations. The problem field covered will be the whole employment period: from recruitment procedure until after the employment ends. Project partners will proactively reach out to 2 fundamental target groups in order to ensure effective and uniform application of the GDPR in employment relationships: 1) businesses, in particular SMEs, and 2) public sector.
